Weak computer editing is at the 00s level, although the film was shot in 2016. And there was not enough credibility: it is known that the attack on the sailors were not white sharks, shots with which showed 1/4 of the film, but long-winged; the water under the sailors is either clear sea or murky coastal; too few actors even for 300+ survivors, not to mention 900+ on the first day. Troy was filmed in 2003, but even there they guessed on long-range plans to copy the extras. It's all striking.
The film's $40 million budget could be forgiven. Although the same "Captain Phillips" was shot in 2013, the year is much more convincing with a budget of $ 55 million.
